Big raffle to help Ganga Giri

With this drawing we want to help Ganga Giri all together as well as possible to to come back onto his feet after the fire that burnt his house. It is a possibility for us to give Ganga something back for what he gave us all the years with his music and his powerfull efforts for this instrument.

Here are some additional informations about the fire:

With his porch Ganga had just finished the last building activities on his house. To be able to pay the workers he sold his car. This money was in the house and was also burnt.

To get a fire insurance in Australia the finished building has to get an expert opinion by a surveyor. One week before the already fixed surveyor’s date the house burnt down. So this was the absolutley worst moment the fire could happen.

The evening befor the fire Ganga had a gig on a benefit event for the Tsunami victims. This saved his concert didgeridoos. When he came back to his house next morning Ganga and his girlfriend stood in front of the burnt ruin of his house.

Ganga had to sell his land too, to be able to start again from the very bottom.

Hi All, my name is Ben, Ganga Giri`s brother, Ganga recently lost everything: house, land, didj`s, photos, clothes, EVERTHING to a fire on his land.
I am trying to generate awareness, to raise some money for him to keep recording and touring.
